Rutland, Vermont- Police are investigating a deadly hit and run crash in Rutland.
Police say it happened just before 6 p.m. on Lincoln Avenue, near the intersection of Williams and Grant streets.
Police say Jean Campbell, 57, of Rutland, was pushing her husband in a wheelchair, when she was hit by a vehicle. That vehicle fled the scene, police said.
Campbell was transported to a local hospital where she died. Her husband's injuries do not appear to be life threatening.
