Rutland, Vermont- Sheriff's deputies in Vermont say they've arrested a suspect in an armed robbery at a West Rutland pharmacy.
Vermont State Police and the Rutland County Sheriff's Department arrested Christopher McCarthy, 42, who lives in the Rutland area, following a search. He was held on $75,000.00 bail.
On Saturday, a man who said he had a gun gave a note to a pharmacist at the Rite Aid Pharmacy and demanded prescription drugs.
An unspecified amount of medication was turned over and the suspect fled.
