During the last decade, the event has raised 116 tons of food and $65,000 for the Central Vermont Salvation Army Emergency Food Shelf.
Organizers say this year, they're trying to meet an even greater need.
"Right now is the time they start running low and due to the flooding from August and earlier this year, the shelves are kind of bare, they're really running low on lots and lots of items," said Frank FM DJ T.J. Michaels.
