Nicole Estaphan joined FOX44 Local News in July, 2009. She anchors the weekend news on FOX44 and ABC22 and reports during the week. Nicole previously spent two years at our sister station WKTV in Utica, New York where she worked as an anchor and general assignment reporter. Prior to working in television, she worked for Katz Media in LA. Nicole has a Bachelor's Degree in communications/marketing from the University of Rhode Island, and a Master's degree in journalism from Emerson College in Boston.
Some of Nicole's accomplishments include writing, and producing a documentary entitled "The Cost Of Giving Back," a regional AP award for best feature story, and an investigative piece that crossed state lines.
Nicole grew up in Grafton Mass., but has spend most of her adult life on a nomadic path, living everywhere from the sunny California Coast to the rolling hills of Upstate New York. In her spare time, Nicole enjoys water sports, running, traveling to unlikely places, and reading a good book when she finds a few moments to sit still.
